Barry Monda is a youth pastor, elder, successful business owner, and now a published author. He grew up in a middle-class family. He excelled in sports from the time he was eight years old until he flunked out in his second year in college where he lost a full football scholarship at Austin Peay State University. At the age of nineteen, he got a job working construction and continued a downhill spiral.By the time he was twenty-three, he was smoking crack, in and out of rehabs, spiritual growth centers, half-way houses, and jail for the next two decades. At the age of forty-four, a miraculous transformation took pace in his life and today he has been standing strong for twelve years. He now gives hope to others struggling with addiction.
